This underground rapper from the CHI has flowed over tracks and instrumentals produced by 9th Wonder, NO I.D. 88 Keys, Alchemist, and Kanye West, adding his positive flow to each. Listening to his tracks and lyrics, this kid can go far. Had a chance to hear him freestyle live over a few beats, and man...  he killed it! With his smoothe demeanor and charm, Shawn Johnson is an upcoming superstar. He has an amazing voice and cleverly written lyrics that will show that he's here for a reason.Shawn isnt from some big musical city like N.Y,L.A,or A.T.L,but he/s from Washington D.C,a place wherer dreams can sometimes be overlooked due to reality.Once you hear this 19 year old's self-written lyrics you are sometimes tempted to draw comparisons to Michael Jackson,Stevie Wonder,and Usher.But if you listen a little longer,you will see that Shawn has the creativity of those before him,but the swagger and charisma of his own.
We hope to be working with this talented brother in the near future, so stay tuned for some future collaborations to post!

Blueprint 3 - Grab this one!

To us, this is probably the most creative Blueprint of the collection. Of course the original one was a classic, the 2nd Blueprint was comercially appealing, but this one is creative, actually changing the hip hop game again, going back to GOOD BEATS. On this album, Jay Z challenges other rappers to become more creative and not follow the crowd, because music was becoming boring and all songs were sounding the same. Production on this album included Kanye West (back to his old form at LAST) the mighty infamous No I.D.(Who Diggz had a chance to work alongside with during his tenure at 302 Entertainment in Atlanta years ago), Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, and The Neptunes.
Hottest song to us is "Thank You" and "Venus vs Mars"
Weakest songs were "On to the Next One"
(The Neptunes actually had a track called "Brooklyn Girl" but was pulled of the listing)

Honda Battery Powered Bike

Honda has announced that it has partnered with Yuasa to bring an electric bike line-up to their model range by the year 2010.

“Honda is currently developing a battery-powered electric motorcycle which emits no CO2 during operation. The company is aiming to introduce this electric motorcycle to the market about in two years from now,” says Takeo Fukui, Chairman and CEO of Honda Motor Co. “History shows that motorcycles remain strong in a difficult market environment and have always supported Honda in difficult times,” he adds.

The singer/songwriter out of Lancaster, SC. representing both "Cakillacs" on the soul tip - independently moving toward greatness. He has been singing since a youth in church, slowly developing into his own voice in music, not following commercial influences. Be on the lookout for his upcoming album really soon, but in the meantime, listen out for up and coming tracks that may actually have his name on it really really soon!(If time prevails, hopefully we will see a collaboration as well with this talented singer!)

Originally from Cleveland, OH, up and coming producer CB has spent the last decade honing his musical talent in the rapidly growing underground of Charlotte, NC developing a sound that is every bit the melting pot the city itself represents. From Hip Hop to Jazz Fusion CB does it all.
We have had the opportunity to collaborate on a few tracks with this kat, whose guitar licks pretty much tell it how it is, RAW. Stay tuned to this future superproducer's track record growing strong really soon!

4SHO working on mixtape and forthcoming album

Cincinnati rap artist 4SHO is currently working with Diggz on his upcoming independent album, "Me and My Dreams" slated for a 2010 release. So far the total tracks that have been produced by SeriousBIZ productions have been 7. Tracks completed are "In my Video" "Ms. Stevie" and "Let tha Hood Out". Here are two snippets from the upcoming album, not complete mixdowns but you will get the picture.
